What to include in an emailed quote

  • Components — CPU model numbers, RAM size + type (DDR4/DDR5), SSD/NVMe capacity
  • Quantities — how many of each
  • Photos — clearly showing the part numbers, if you have them
  • Postcode — so we can confirm UK eligibility for the listed rates

Single-rig sale

Old gaming PC pulled for an upgrade

Common case: you've upgraded the rig and the old parts are sat in a drawer. A typical 2022-era build:

  • 1 × Intel Core i7-12700K (working) — £65
  • 1 × Intel Core i5-12600K (working, donor) — £43
  • 2 × 16GB DDR4 / DDR5 sticks (32GB kit) — £11 each
  • 1 × 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD — £14

Indicative Grade A total at today's listed rates. Your actual quote depends on exact part numbers and condition on test. See live prices →

Common questions before sending

Do I need to test it first?
No. Send untested parts — we test on receipt at no cost to you. You only pay for what works; the rest goes back at our cost.
What if some parts don't work on test?
They're regraded and lined out separately on the report. Failed components are returned at our expense, or routed via WEEE if you'd rather not have them back.
How long does the whole thing take?
Once we receive your batch, expect testing and a per-line grading report within 1–2 business days. Payment goes by Faster Payments after you accept the report.
Who pays for postage?
You post to us — Royal Mail Tracked or any UK courier you prefer. We cover return postage on any failed components.
What if I disagree with a grade?
Photo evidence comes with the report. If the regrade looks wrong, reply with reasoning and we'll re-bench. If we still can't agree, the whole batch is returned at our cost — no obligation to accept.
Why £30 minimum?
The labour cost of bench-testing a single chip and processing the payout doesn't pencil under that. For smaller batches, bundle with a friend or wait until you've got more pulled.
Do you take broken or dead parts?
Sometimes — for popular models we pay a reduced "for spares / repair" rate. Mention condition up-front in your email so we can quote accurately.
