Sell ECC server RAM UK — RDIMM, LRDIMM, quoted on receipt.
DDR4 and DDR5 ECC server memory pulled from modern servers — RDIMM, LRDIMM, 3DS-RDIMM. No fixed list price — server RAM pricing varies too much by capacity, speed, rank, and channel inventory cycles. Send a rough breakdown and we'll quote on receipt.
How the ECC server RAM flow works
Different to our consumer DDR4 / DDR5 buyback — server RAM is quoted per batch.
Send a breakdown
WhatsApp +44 7908 749694 or email with: capacity (16GB / 32GB / 64GB / 128GB sticks), DDR4 vs DDR5, RDIMM vs LRDIMM vs 3DS, speed bin, rank if you know it. Brand and SKU are nice-to-have.
Indicative quote
Reply within working hours during UK business days. We'll come back with a per-stick indicative range based on the breakdown.
You post to us
Any UK carrier, your cost. Anti-static bag each stick — ESD damage on a 128GB DDR5 RDIMM is an expensive transit risk. We email the address once you accept.
Memtest on receipt
Each stick gets a memtest pass and visual inspection. Per-line grading report by email.
Final per-stick price
Confirmed after test — usually inside the indicative range. Sticks that fail memtest or arrive damaged are regraded with photo evidence.
Faster Payments
Paid after testing once you accept the report.
What's worth sending
DDR5 RDIMM / LRDIMM (modern)
64GB / 96GB / 128GB DDR5 server RAM from modern Xeon Scalable Gen 4 / EPYC Genoa systems. Strong secondary demand. Custom quote per stick.
DDR4 RDIMM 32GB / 64GB
Most popular DDR4 capacities from Scalable Gen 1–3 era servers. Per-stick pricing varies with channel inventory but consistent buyer pool.
DDR4 RDIMM 16GB / 8GB
Lower per-stick value but high volume in typical pulls. Send the lot — we sort and grade per-capacity on receipt.
LRDIMM & 3DS-RDIMM (high-density)
128GB DDR4 LRDIMM / 256GB 3DS — specialist server RAM with a narrower buyer pool. Worth quoting; pricing depends heavily on current inventory.
What to include in your enquiry
- Capacity breakdown — e.g. "8× 32GB DDR4 RDIMM, 4× 64GB LRDIMM, 16× 16GB DDR4 RDIMM"
- Source platform — HPE Gen10+ ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge 14G/15G, Supermicro, etc. Helps confirm DDR generation.
- Speed bin if you know it — 2933 MT/s, 3200 MT/s, 4800 MT/s etc. Side label of the stick has it.
- Rank — single, dual, octal — if you've got SKU/labels in front of you. Not essential.
- Photos — label-side shot of one or two representative sticks is plenty.
- Server CPUs alongside? If the matching Xeon / EPYC chips came out of the same servers, send those too. More on Xeon →
What we don't currently buy
- DDR2 / DDR3 ECC RAM — older generations have minimal secondary demand. Send modern only.
- Defective / partially-failed sticks — sticks that fail memtest are regraded zero; we don't pay for known-faulty stock.
- Engineering samples — no resale path.
For consumer DDR4 / DDR5 UDIMM (desktop, gaming, workstation non-server) we have fixed per-capacity pricing on the live list — see sell consumer RAM. Same per-capacity rate regardless of brand or speed bin.
