Live DDR4 buyback prices (per stick)

Grade A pricing applies to working sticks that pass memtest. Pricing is by capacity — speed bin, RGB or plain, brand all the same per-capacity rate. This page covers consumer UDIMM at fixed per-capacity prices. ECC RDIMM / LRDIMM server RAM — yes, we buy that too but on a different flow (receipt-quote, no fixed list). Mixed brands (Crucial, Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, Samsung, Hynix etc.) all welcome.

How we grade DDR4 sticks on receipt

A

Grade A — tested working

Boots cleanly in our test rig (memtest pass), no physical damage, full clip and notch present. Pays at the listed price above.

B

Grade B — cosmetic flaws

Passes memtest but has minor cosmetic issues — bent fin on heatspreader, sticker residue, scuffed PCB. Pays 80–90% of Grade A.

C

Grade C — untested

Pulled from working system but not memtested by us yet. Pays 60–80% as deposit, balance after later test.

X

Grade X — fails memtest

Errors during memtest, broken clip, missing IC, burnt PCB. We don't pay for these — returned at our cost or routed through our WEEE channel, your call.

How to sell your DDR4 in three steps

1

Build your quote

Use the live quote tool — tap + on the capacity for each stick you have. £30 minimum order; mixed batches fine.

2

Pack and post

Anti-static bag if you have one (mandatory for premium pricing on high-capacity sticks); bubble-wrap individually otherwise. Padded box, post via any UK carrier — Royal Mail Tracked is fine.

3

Get paid

We memtest each stick on receipt and email a per-line grading report (typically 1–2 business days). Once you accept, payment by Faster Payments — UK Faster Payments usually clear in your bank within an hour or two of being sent.

What we don't buy

  • DDR3 and earlier — limited secondary market; we'll route them through our WEEE channel at no charge if sent in a mixed batch
  • Laptop SO-DIMM RAM — different page; coming soon, currently quote-on-request via WhatsApp
  • RAM with broken clips, missing ICs, or visible burns — Grade X, no per-part value
  • Mismatched / mystery sticks with no markings — we'll grade what we can identify; unknowns route to recycling

Common questions about selling DDR4

Does speed (2400 vs 3200 vs 3600 MHz) affect the price?
Not in our flow — we price by capacity. The secondary refurb market has steady demand across all DDR4 speed bins; the spread between speeds isn't large enough to justify a separate price for each.
Do you buy ECC server RAM?
Yes — but quoted on receipt rather than on this fixed-price list. ECC RDIMM / LRDIMM from modern servers, send a breakdown via WhatsApp / email for an indicative quote. More on the ECC server RAM flow →
RGB modules with stickers / heatspreader damage?
Aesthetic flaws drop to Grade B (10–20% off). Functional damage to the LED strip doesn't matter if the RAM still memtests clean.
Do you buy RAM kits as kits?
We pay per individual stick — kits get unbundled in our flow. Two 16GB sticks pay the same regardless of whether they were sold to you as a 32GB kit.
Mixed batches of brands and speeds — OK?
Yes. No need to sort by brand or speed. We grade per stick on receipt.
Do you buy server-pulled sticks (RDIMMs / LRDIMMs)?
Yes, on a different flow — quoted on receipt, no fixed price (more on the ECC server RAM flow →).
